An upcoming candidate forum is expected to give Frederick County voters their first look at a face-to-face matchup between the two candidates running for county executive.
The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, the Building Industry Association and the Association of Realtors are joining forces for the event Monday, August 10th, at the ARC on Market Street. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the forum runs from 5:30 until 8 p.m. The county executive candidates will go first, followed by candidates in contested county council races.
Organizers anticipate an audience of at least 100 people. The forum is expected to address a number of key issues, including the controversial data center debate, as well as other topics that received limited attention during the primary.
