Frederick Police are investigating two separate reports of gunfire that happened early Sunday morning.
Around 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where they found an adult woman who had been shot. Police later learned a juvenile male had also gone directly to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Investigators determined the injuries to both victims came from the same incident, and neither injury was considered life-threatening.
About 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the first block of West Sixth Street for another report of shots fired. Police confirmed gunfire in that area, but found no victims. Detectives are now working to determine whether the two incidents are connected.
