Frederick Police say a barn fire in the city is being investigated as arson.
Officers responded to the area of Stoddert Alley and Atlas Drive around 7:45 Saturday night to assist firefighters with the reported barn fire. Following an initial investigation, authorities determined the fire is being investigated as arson.
Detectives with the Frederick Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are working with the Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office. Police say the individuals involved have been identified and are thanking the public for its assistance. The investigation remains active.
