Gladhill Furniture is expanding its support for Peach’s Little Free Pantry, a Middletown community resource that provides food, toiletries and other everyday necessities to local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
The furniture business, which has been part of the Middletown community for more than 110 years, provides ongoing financial support to the pantry and is now serving as a community donation drop-off location.
Residents, customers and employees can bring donations to the collection pantry inside the Gladhill Furniture showroom at 10 Walnut Street in Middletown during regular store hours.
The pantry is located at 1 Firemans Lane in Middletown and operates on the principle of giving what people can and taking what they need.
Requested donations include:
Unexpired, nonperishable food
Canned and packaged meals
Toiletries and personal-care products
Paper products
Other everyday necessities
Donations should be new and unopened.
Gladhill Furniture says the expanded partnership is intended to help keep Peach’s Little Free Pantry stocked and ensure food and essential items remain available to Middletown-area residents who need them.
The business says its community involvement is part of a broader commitment to supporting organizations and causes throughout Middletown, Frederick County and central Maryland.
