The Los Angeles Rams are on the opposite end of the spectrum. They have to be anxious to get on the field to remove the bad taste from their mouth after Week 1’s disastrous trip to Australia. Matthew Stafford looked uncomfortable at best, and inaccurate at worst, during his game. The team couldn’t convert major fourth-down attempts; there were dumb penalties, and it was just a poorly played game all the way around. Now that they are back home and in more familiar settings, perhaps things change.
The storylines are not lacking in this game, and many weren’t even discussed. For example, Aaron Donald returns from retirement. How will the Giants plan to block him? The questions for everything will be answered tonight.
