A 37-year-old Frederick County man is heading to federal prison for 25 years after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting children and possessing child sexual abuse material.
Mark Brigham of Mount Airy was sentenced in federal court and will also serve lifetime supervised release. Court documents say that between September 2023 and August 2024, Brigham persuaded, coerced or enticed three girls, ages 13 and 14, to engage in sexually explicit conduct and used his cellphone to record images.
Investigators also found he had secretly recorded adults and minors using a hidden bathroom camera. A 2025 search of his home turned up electronic devices, 35 firearms, ammunition and a magazine. Investigators later found child sexual abuse material on the devices.
The case is part of the Justice Department’s Project Safe Childhood.
