This week, there are 13 games on Sunday to choose from. The first game takes place in London at 9:30 ET, and the last is between the Ravens and Falcons on Sunday Night Football. Between those two, we are given 11 solid matchups, with most happening in the early window of games.
One game in the early window that is worth watching is between the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets. It is early in the season, but the Browns are surprisingly good. Their defense is playing well, and their offense looks competent. Deshaun Watson has been reliable and kept drives alive.
The New York Jets are struggling this season with a 1-3 record, but they have been surprisingly competitive in their games. They won the season opener against Tennessee, then lost in overtime to Green Bay, and lost by just seven to the Lions. Last week they faced the Bears and just couldn’t get anything going against Chicago’s defense.
The books have made the Jets the favorite in this one, but they don’t expect it to be a very high-scoring game. The total is 39.5, which is one of the lowest on the board this week. The Browns don’t have much of a running game, so New York would be smart to try to limit the passing.
Cleveland just needs to keep doing what they are doing in order to get a win. You can get a win from Fanatics Sportsbook by using promo code FOXNEWS350 to earn $350 in FanCash from a $20 wager on this game or any other game from the Week 5 schedule.
