Brewers vs Rays | Tuesday, Oct 27, 2026 at 8:00 pm ET | Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL | FOX
It is hard to believe we are almost done with the MLB season. The Brewers need to win just one more game in order to hoist the trophy. The Rays can still keep their season alive, and they have no other option than taking it a game at a time. They need to win four games in a row, but they’ve done that eight times this year.
Let’s take a look at how this postseason has gone for both teams and their hitting stats:
Milwaukee Brewers
- 100 hits resulting in a .272 batting average.
- 11 home runs, averaging one per game
- 12 doubles
- 2 triples
- 46 walks, coming out to over four walks per game.
- 89 strikeouts, which is about eight per game.
- 17 stolen bases, the most in the postseason.
Tampa Bay Rays
- 84 hits in the playoffs, hitting just .221
- Batting average is .037 lower than in the regular season
- Eight homers, but just one in the World Series
- 17 doubles, the most in the postseason.
- 1 triple hit
- 26 walks, roughly two per game.
- 90 strikeouts, about eight per game.
- 15 stolen bases, the second-most in the playoffs.
The Rays need to find some hits, and they need to do it quickly. The Brewers are putting together a historic postseason run. The two square off tonight for Game 4 of the World Series.
BetMGM is offering new users promo code FOXNEWS to earn up to $1,500 in bonuses. If your first wager loses, you’ll receive bonus funds matching the amount you originally bet.
