Veterans can take a trip through history for free this Veterans Day in Gettysburg.
The Gettysburg Foundation is offering veterans complimentary admission Wednesday, November 11th, to the Film, Cyclorama and Museum Experience at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center.
Proof of military service is required, and veterans are encouraged to arrive early, with the final showing at 4:15 p.m. The visit includes a film about the Battle of Gettysburg and its significance, along with the 12-gallery Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War, featuring artifacts and exhibits that bring the stories of Civil War soldiers to life.
