Joshua Johnson, 43, is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, and using a firearm in a felony crime. He’s currently behind bars at the Montgomery County Detention Center without bond.State Police say on Thursday, May 15th, a motorist called the Rockville Barrack and reported a road rage incident on I-270 near Montrose Road. The victim said the driver of a black Hyundai Santa Fe pointed a handgun at them. The victim was not hurt.The Maryland State Police HIghway Gun Crimes Initiative took over the investigation, and was able to identify the suspect as Johnson. Troopers obtained a search warrant on Johnson’s vehicle, and confiscated a loaded handgun from the driver’s seat.By Kevin McManus
