Two WV Men Charged With Fraud In Washington County

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says Earl Marshall Nicholson, 40, of Inwood, and Billy Lee Nicholson, 34, of Kearneysville were taken into custody on Friday, May 9th, 2025..Authorities say the two posed as Potomac Edison employees, and were attempting to scam a customer out of money by claiming that person needed electrical upgrades.The Sheriff’s Office says it’s  concerned that there may other victims who have not come forward.
