Presented by the Elder Services Provider Council of Frederick County.
Frederick, MD – Elder Services Provider Council of Frederick County is preventing two events next month focused on helping both the elderly and their caregivers.
SDPC President Christina Forbes said both of the events provide information and services on elder care.
“We know that there are a lot of folks aging in the community and there are a lot of people… who are taking care of them,” Forbes said. “It can be really overwhelming.”
The 2019 Caregiver Conference is October 1 at the Frederick Fairgrounds, and features speakers giving practical tips and strategies for taking care of loved ones.
The Elder Expo is October 2 and will feature over 75 businesses with services related to aging and senior care.
Both events take place at the Frederick Fairgrounds and are free to the public with registration for certain activities required. More information can be found at http://www.espcfrederick.com/
