A 17-year-old Frederick boy is charged with one count each of attempted robbery, 2nd-degree assault and possession of drugs.
Frederick Police say the youth was arrested in the 100 block of Willowdale Drive on Thursday morning. He was taken into custody after a short foot chase.
Officers responded to the 14-hundred block of Key Parkway at around 8:41 AM for a reported armed robbery. They met up with the victim who was not injured from the assault and robbery. The suspect had left the scene.
Police the 17-year-old boy is being charged as a juvenile, and his name will not be released.
