Pedestrian Injured In Hit & Run In Downtown Frederick

Police say the driver of the striking vehicle did not remain at the scene.


An investigation is underway into a hit and run in downtown Frederick Saturday night.

Police say a pedestrian was struck in the area of East Church and North Market Streets. Officers arriving at the scene found the victim conscious and alert, suffering a minor injury to his arm.

The victim was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say the victim was struck by a dark colored SUV. The driver did not remain at the scene.
