A Frederick man was arrested Tuesday for one count of possession of crack cocaine. Michael David Lewis, 33, was apprehended following a traffic stop in the area of Willowdale Drive and Schafer Drive.
Officers with the Frederick Police Street Crimes Team say they observed a vehicle commit numerous traffic violations. It was pulled over, and contact was made with the driver identified as Lewis. Authorities believe he was involved in drug activity and was taken into custody after he produced an amount of cocaine.
Lewis was transported to the Adult Detention Center.
