Frederick officials say a portion of East Church Street between North Market Street and Chapel Alley, including the Evangelical Lutheran Church, has been chosen for the backdrop of a filming project. It will take place on Saturday, May 21st between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM, and there will be intermittent lane and sidewalk closures.
City officials and the producer say the final details of this project are still being worked out.
The filming will involve the use of pyrotechnics, and first responders, including an off-duty Frederic Police Officer, will be on the scene. The County Fire Marshal is aware of the situation, and is working with the production crew.
In case of rain, the filming will occur on Sunday, May 22nd between 12:30 PM and 7:00 PM.
