Two People Found Dead In Sykesville Home

Authorities say foul play is not suspected at this time.

A man and a woman were found deceased in a home in Sykesville on Tuesday morning, but the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says it’s not suspecting foul play.
Deputies were asked by a family member to conduct a welfare check on 74-year-old Frances Fogle who lived in the 1500 block of Fannie Dorsey Road.  That relative had not heard from Fogle for several weeks.

When law enforcement officers responded, they found the house secured Looking inside, deputies saw a deceased man. Fire department personnel forced entry into the home. They looked around and also found Fogle had passed away.

The Sheriff’s Office says the man’s identity is being withheld pending notice of next of kin.

The bodies of Fogle and the deceased male were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies. At first glance, the Sheriff’s Office says it appears the two died as a result of natural causes.

The investigation continues.
