Man Wanted In Pa. Arrested In Frederick

He was picked up following a traffic stop.


Frederick Police arrested a wanted man on Wednesday. Officers with the Street Crimes Division apprehended Bernard William Washington, 31, of Frederick following a traffic stop in the 1,000 block of West Patrick Street.

A police canine which was called to the scene  did a scan of the vehicle, and indicated the presence of drugs.  All occupants were removed from the car.

During the course of their investigation, police learned that Washington, who was a passenger in the vehicle,  was wanted in Franklin County, Pennsylvania on three active arrest warrants for violation of probation.

He was taken to the Adult Detention Center.
