WV Woman Arrested In Frederick For Drug Offenses

She’s also wanted in WV.

A traffic stop in Frederick on Wednesday led to the arrest of West Virginia woman on a drug charge.

The Police Department’s Street Crimes Team saw a suspicious vehicle in the area of Willowdale Drive and Key Parkway. The vehicle was stopped at the Westridge Square parking lot.

A police canine called to the scene did a sniff on the car, and indicated the presence of drugs.

A search of the vehicle netted an amount of Xanax which was located near where Lakin Renee Wolfe, 26, of Berkley Springs, who was a passenger,  was seated.

During her arrest, police say they found out that Wolfe was wanted in West Virginia for failure to appear in court. She was taken to the Adult Detention Center for processing.
