The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an indecent exposure incident in Urbana.

Authorities say two youths were walking on Sugarloaf Parkway between the traffic circle at Spice Bush Way and Bush Creek Drive on Monday at around 3:20 PM when they saw an older, white passenger vehicle stop along the shoulder. They saw a man inside who had his tee-shirt up above his chest and was touching himself inappropriately.

The vehicle pulled away.

The man inside did not get out of his car, and did not make contact with the two juveniles.

He’s described as white, about 30 to 40 years of age, with short reddish hair, a full beard. He was wearing black sunglasses and a light green shirt.

The Sheriff’s Office says it will step up patrols in the area as a precaution.

Deputies also says they closely with the School System to make sure all students are safe.

Citizens are urged to be alert and report any suspicious activities to school administrators or local law enforcement.
