The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a garage fire Sunday evening in Keymar.
Fire fighters responded to 2122 Keysville-Frederick County Road at around 7:30 PM, and were able to put out the flames within 20-minutes. There were no injuries.
Damage is estimated at $150,000: $50,000 to the structure and $100,000 to the contents.
Fire investigators say the one-story, one-frame, unattached garage contained one car, two motorcycles, two lawnmowers and one ATV.
The cause remains under investigation.
Officials say the fire originated in the rear of the garage. It was discovered by a passerby.
