SHA says it will allow crews to do pavement work.
Two right travel lanes on eastbound Interstate 70 between Ridge Road (Route 27) and Woodbine Road (Route 94) will be closed this weekend as crews do some pavement work. One lane will be open for travel to get by the road work.
The Maryland State Highway Administration says work will begin on Friday, June 3rd at 9:00 AM, and continue until Monday, June 6th at 5:00 AM, weather permitting.
Personnel will remove the top layer of pavement as well as patch and resurface the roadway.
SHA will arrow panels, barrels, cones and signs to direct traffic through the area.
Motorists are encouraged to take Ridge Road (Route 27) and Old National Pike (Route 144) as alternates, and allow for extra time when traveling.
