The Sheriff’s Office says it’s conducting a wider investigation.
The investigation continues into the suicide of a Jefferson High School teacher.
In a statement, the Jefferson County, West Virginia, Sheriff’s Office says so far it’s not found criminal activity, but is continuing to look into information that has come to light that could be criminal in nature.
Sheriff Pete Dougherty says the Department is conducting a wider investigation with the assistance from the West Virginia State Police. He also says he appreciates the cooperation of the Jefferson County School System in this investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office news release has no information on the teacher’s identity, or how the teacher died.
