Frederick Police found a total of 152.9-grams of marijuana in a car following a traffic stop late Thursday night.
Officers pulled over a vehicle operated by Darien Skylar Sowers, 22, in the area of West South Street and South Market Street. The cops detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and placed Sowers under arrest.
The large amount of pot was found after police searched the vehicle.
Sowers is charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 1,000-feet of a school zone.
He was taken to the Adult Detention Center.
