Police Arrest Two People After Large Quantity Of Drugs In A Vehicle

It included heroin and marijuana.

Two people were arrested and marijuana and heroin were confiscated during an incident on Friday in Frederick.

An officer responded to the area of 1,003 West Patrick Street for a possibly intoxicated driver. Joshua Aaron Ladson was found passed out inside a vehicle with the motor running. As the officer was speaking with witnesses, he noticed Ladson toss an item on the ground. Police retrieved it and found it was a bag containing heroin. Ladson was placed under arrest after officers found marijuana, heroin and other drugs in his vehicle.

A passenger in the vehicle, Julius W. Terrell, was found to have additional heroin on this person.

Terrell is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute heroin. Ladson is charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute heroin, driving while impaired and failure to appear in court on a warrant for child support in Montgomery County.

In all, police say 30.8-grams of  marijuana and almost 6.9-grams  of heroin were located during the incident.
