More Items Needed To Help WV Flood Victims

Donations can be left off at the Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office in Martinsburg.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office continues to accept donations for the residents of Southern West Virginia who have suffered from massive flooding.

Previously, officials said they needed first aid kits, blankets, toiletries, diapers and non-perishable foods. They say they still need those items, but they could also use bug spray, fly papers strips, tarps, plastic totes, personal hygiene materials and over the counter medications. In addition, there’s also a need for portable playpens and cribs, strollers, and baby seats and chairs in good condition.

Any of these items can be dropped off at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at 510 Raleigh Street in Martinsburg from eight a-m until eight p-m through Friday, July 1st. Cash donations will also be accepted.
