Two Arrested For Robbing Union Bridge Liquor Store

Non one was hurt in the holdup.


Two suspects have been charged in connection with the Thursday robbery of a liquor store in Union Bridge. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says Luke Michael Etzler, 22, and Brian Matthew Tarman, 33 both of Westminster, were apprehended on Friday. They are charged with, robbery, solicitation to commit armed robbery, armed robbery, theft over $1,000, 1st-degree assault and conspiracy.

Authorities say on Thursday afternoon at 5:16, an individual, armed with a handgun, entered Esquire Liquors at 5 West Broadway Street, and demanded cash. After he walked out of the store, the suspect was picked up by a waiting pickup truck operated by another man.

No one was injured in this holdup.
