CSX says it needs to repair the crossing.

(Frederick, Md.) (KM)  CSX Transportation says it will be closing a section of Buckeystown Pike (Route 85) between English Muffin Way and Manor Woods Road for repairs to the railroad crossing. The company says it will replace deteriorating rubber panels, and repave the railroad approaches.

The road will be closed beginning on Saturday, July 16th at 4:00 AM. Weather permitting, the roadway will reopen on Monday evening.

The State Highway Administration says motorists traveling from the south on Route 85 will need to turn left on Manor Woods Road, and then make a right on to New Design Road. Then a right on English Muffin Way and left on Route 85.

For drivers coming from the north on Route 85, they need to turn right on to English Muffin Way, and then left on to New Design Road. Then they make a left on to Manor Woods Road, and then right on to Route 85.
