They will be closed during that time.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick City Parks and Recreation says the first phase of repairs to the tennis courts at Baker Park are underway. The five courts near West Second Street will be closed from now until Wednesday, August 4th.
When that work is completed, the six tennis courts at Fleming Avenue will be closed for repairs from Monday, August 22nd to Sunday, September 11th. That will be phase two of the repairs to the tennis courts.
Each phase is expected to take one week to complete, weather permitting.
The work will include crack sealing, court surfacing and lining.
During the construction, the City says the tennis courts will not be playable.
The City’s contractor for this project is American Tennis Courts, Inc.
