The CSX Rail Road in section MD 28 will be closed starting August 5th at 6:30PM. Detour roads will include New Design Road, Mountville Road and US 15. The closure is due to railroad repairs and will reopen if weather permits by August 9th.
Because of the work that will be taking place on the tracks, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration asks for drivers to expect extra travel time and to continue to stay alert and aware of speed limits while driving.
