MIDDLETOWN, Md. (DG)-A Frederick woman lost her life in an accident on Saturday afternoon in Middletown.
Maryland State Police say the accident happened around 4:30 PM when a Dodge Ram Truck crossed the center line of Alt. 40 westbound near Mt. Tabor Rd. and hit a Mitsubishi Eclipse head-on.
Police say the driver of Mitsubishi, Kimberly Bohannan, died at the scene.
The driver of the pick up truck, Bryan Gabriel, was taken to Meritus Hospital for treatment.
Troopers say the investigation into the crash is continuing and charges are pending.
