HVAC Mechanic (553572)
The Maintenance Heat, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic is responsible for: 1) Installing, operating, maintaining and repairing heating ventilations, air conditioning, refrigeration and auxiliary equipment, 2) disassembling units and restore to operating conditions, 3) repairing or replacing condensers, compressors, pumps, valves, motors, bearings, belts, 3) inspecting and testing refrigeration systems, 4) reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings and technical manuals, 5) performing related work on all auxiliary HVAC/R systems and components, …and much more.

Maintenance Pipefitter (553561)
The Maintenance Pipefitter is responsible for: 1) installing, operating, maintaining and repairing piping, fittings, devices and related equipment that makeup steam distribution systems, potable water systems, chilled and condenser water systems, air/vacuum/gas systems, hot water heating systems, LN2 and CO2 cryogenic systems and waste systems, 2) operating special laboratory equipment using CO2, nitrogen, oxygen and other compressed gases, 3) measuring, cutting, assembling and installing black, galvanized iron, stainless steel, pyrex, copper and PVC piping systems, 4) performing weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance, and 5) maintaining logs and records of equipment operations.
