Woman Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash In Carroll Co.

She was medivaced to Shock Trauma.


Westminster, Md (KM)  A Union Bridge woman was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter to Shock Trauma in Baltimore Friday afternoon with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says Danielle Marie Seitz, 40 was a passenger in a Honda CRV which rear-ended a Ford Fusion that was stopped at a red circular signal at Tahoma Farm Road and Route 31 in the Westminster area. At last word, Seitz was in critical condition.
According to deputies, the Ford Fusion was traveling westbound along Route 31 and was stopped at the signal with Tahoma Road. The CRV was also traveling westbound and struck the Fusion in the rear.

The driver of the CRV is identified as Joseph Peter Kaniecki II, 34. The other passenger in his vehicle was John Wesley Pobletts III, age 46. The operator of the Fusion was Michael Scott Ruth, age 47.
