Suspect Arrested In Baugher’s Orchard Theft

He turned himself in on Thurs.

Westminster, Md. (KM)  The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says it’s arrested a suspect who stole cash from Baugher’s Orchard in Westminster on September 4th. Justin Lloyd Kemp, 32, who has a Westminster address, is charged with 2nd-degree burglary and theft over $1,000.

Employees of Baugher’s Orchard told deputies they say an individual leave an office space in the store which is not generally open to the public. They later found that cash was missing.

Investigators say they were able to identify Kemp as a suspect, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Kemp turned himself in on Thursday. He was taken to Carroll County Central Booking for processing.
