They stole items from juveniles at Hill Street Park.
Frederick, Md (KM) Two Frederick men have been charged with an armed robbery on Thursday afternoon at Hill Street Park. Kevin Omar Garcia Rodriquez, and Andersson Magzul Romero, both 18, are both charged with 1st- and 2nd- assault, theft, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit 1st-degree assault, conspiracy to commit 2nd-degree assault and conspiracy to commit theft.
Police say they were dispatched to the park to investigate reports of an armed robbery. They interviewed juvenile victims and several witnesses who told detectives that two men threatened them with a knife. They took the victims’ property. No one was hurt.
A detective with the Frederick Police Department obtained arrest warrants for Rodriquez and Romero on Friday. Officers with the Street Crimes Team were able to locate the two men at their homes, and took them into custody without incident.
