Two Charged With Human Trafficking, Rape

The victim was a juvenile female.  

Frederick, Md (KM)  Frederick Police have charged two men with human trafficking. Thomas Duane Jones of Houston, Texas, 35, and Marvin Bernard Armstrong, 45, of High Point, North Carolina were apprehended on Friday.

Authorities were dispatched to the Super Eight Motel at 20 Monocacy Boulevard to investigate a domestic dispute. They met a juvenile victim who was reported missing from Texas. She told officers she was brought to Maryland by Jones, and over the past several days, she was forced to have sex with the two men. It was done allegedly for money.

Jones and Armstrong were taken into custody. They’re both charged with one count each of 1st-degree rape, 1st-degree sex offense, human trafficking by force, human trafficking (take cause), false imprisonment and 2nd-degree assault.
