Man From Hagerstown Arrested In Frederick On Drug Offenses

He was apprehended at Mullinex Park.

Frederick, Md (KM)  A Hagerstown man was arrested in Frederick on Friday for drug offenses. Jashawn Aljavar Wilson, 23, was apprehended at Mullinex Park by Officers with the Directed Patrol Team who  were  conducting surveillance in that area following recent complaints about drug activity.

An officer noticed a group of three men whose behavior indicated the possibility of a drug transaction. The three were approached by the officer who detected a strong odor of marijuana on Wilson’s body. He was placed under arrest.

During a search, police found a small baggie of suspected heroin, a baggie of synthetic cannabinoid and marijuana. Through their investigation, authorities learned Wilson was wanted on a warrant from Ocean City Police for failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge.

He was taken to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with one count each of possession of heroin and possession of a synthetic cannabiniod.
