Four Arrested Following Anti-Prostitution Operation

Two businesses and an apartment were raided.


Frederick, Md (KM)  The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office has charged four people in connection with a prostitution investigation. Bia Xian Wei and Jian Mei Gao are charged with practicing massage therapy without a license; and Yuehum Huang and Enqui Huang are both charged with three counts each of prostitution and operating a prostitution business.

The Sheriff’s Office’ Narcotics Investigation Section and the US Department of Homeland Security  conducted a long term investigation, and uncovered sexual acts being performed on customers following a massage.

Deputies on September 29th served three search warrants at Autumn Breeze Spa, 5 Willowdale Drive, Suite 11; Serenity Foot Spa, 174 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite 203L; and an apartment in the 1400 block of Baker Place.

Several other search warrants were served on two safety deposit boxes and accounts associated with the businesses, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Deputies say they seized $104,718.34 as part of the operation.

A total of 12 search warrants were served as part of this investigation, authorities say.

The Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security were  assisted by the Maryland State Police Western Major Traffickers Group.
