Ghost Hauntings and Tours in Frederick

FREDERICK, Md. (KR) Frederick County is known to many Ghost Hunters as the most haunted city in Maryland. Many have seen sightings and heard noises at locations like the Weinberg Center, the Frederick Historical Society, the Barbara Fritchie House and many others.

Ron Angleberger, owner of ‘Maryland Heritage Tours’ says he has seen many unexplained things while on his ghost tour.

“We have two tours available, which are very popular in the fall. The first one is the Ghost Tours of the Historic District Tour and that’s a tour of downtown Frederick. It’s a history tour, but it’s a paranormal tour as well. We tell you about the history of the sites that we visit and we also tell you about the paranormal activity taking place today.

One experience was something he will never forget, said Angleberger.

“One site we’ve actually seen the former owner actually looking out of the window at the tour group. I actually did the tour on two of those occasions and believe it or not he’s actually disappeared in front of the entire tour group,” said Angleberger.

Maryland Heritage Tours also offer a Cemetery History tour at Mt. Olivet Cemetery for people who aren’t looking for paranormal activity.
