Family Displaced By Mobile Home Fire

Fire is labeled as accidental.

Hagerstown, Md (KM) Damage from a mobile home fire in Washington County on Friday is estimated at $25,000 to the structure and $25,000 to contents.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says 59 fire fighters responded to 12110 of Heather Drive, west of Hagerstown just after 6:00 PM, and spent 15-minutes bringing the flames under control.

There were no injuries.

Investigators say the fire originated in the kitchen and the cause was accidental.

The family which was displaced is being assisted by the Red Cross.

The fire was discovered by a neighbor.
