The crash remains under investigation.
Green Valley, Md (KM) A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Green Valley killed a Mount Airy man. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says Glenn Carter Cox was the driver of a 2012 Kia Soul which was struck head-on along Lynn Burke Road and Weller Road by a 2010 Kia Forte.
Deputies responding to the scene at around 3:10 PM say the Forte was traveling north on Lynn Burke Road when it approached a right curve. The driver crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the Soul.
The two occupants of the Forte were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Forte is identified as Michelle Monaghan of Monrovia.
The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation into this crash is continuing, but there’s no indication of impairment by either driver.
In addition to the Sheriff’s Office, multiple units from Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services responded, along with Fire-Police.
