WESTMINSTER, Md. (KR) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that happened on Tuesday in Carroll County. Authorities say a fire broke out in the kitchen of Sergio’s Pizzeria in the 100 block of Village Road.
The Westminster Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene around 9:30 AM and it took 10 fire fighters to bring the fire under control.
Officials say the estimated damage to the building that is located inside a strip mall is $20-thousand dollars. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Fire Marshal’s Office at 410-836-4844.
