Authorities say he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Big Pool, Md. (KM) State Police in Washington County are continuing their investigation of a one-vehicle crash that killed a Hancock man on Friday afternoon.
Troopers say a Subaru Legacy operated by Russell Francis, 58, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 near Big Pool when it left the roadway and overturned. Francis, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police closed that section of I-70 for nearly three hours while conducting an investigation.
