He was apprehended following a foot chase.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) A juvenile has been charged as an adult with handgun offenses. Pquyjunte Auni Jacques, 17, of Hagerstown was arrested Thursday night.
At around 9:38 PM, Police say detectives were patrolling the 200 block of Alexander Street to deter violent crimes and to gather intelligence. They saw two males: one they knew, the other they didn’t.
When detectives approached, one of the males took off. He was caught after a foot chase. The young man was found to be possession of a firearm.
Jacques is charged with having a handgun on his person and being a minor in possession of a firearm.
He was released on personal recognizance.
