Frederick Police Asking for Help Identifying Purse Robbery Suspect

FREDERICK, Md. (KR) Frederick Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect who broke into a car and stole a purse in Frederick.

According to police, a woman left her purse in her car while she was inside Rose Hill Manor on North Market Street. When she returned to her vehicle she noticed her window broken and her purse was missing.

Officers say the suspect used the woman’s credit card at various PNC Bank locations within days of the theft. Police have obtained photos and video surveillance of the suspect using the card. The suspect is a white woman, 20-30 years old with shoulder length blonde hair and was driving a 4 door sedan.
