Sheriff’s Office says it occurred early Saturday morning on Bethel Rd.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office says Charles Madison Johnson was operating a Chevrolet pickup truck in the 10,000 block of Bethel Road. The vehicle was heading southbound and on the right side of the road. The pickup went off the left side of the roadway, and overturned.
Johnson was ejected from his truck and pronounced dead. No one else was in the pickup, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities believe that speed and failure to negotiate a curve in the road were factors in this wreck, which remains under investigation.
