Taneytown, Md (KM) The cause of a garage fire in Taneytown on Sunday afternoon remains under investigation.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says 30-fire fighters were dispatched to 5760 Taneytown Pike at around 1:48 PM for a garage on fire. They spent 30-minutes bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries.
Damage is estimated at $20,000 to the building, and $70,000 to the contents.
The fire was discovered by individuals doing work on the garage roof.
