Hagerstown Man Charged With Home Invasion Robbery In Frederick

Police say he was identified as a suspect using DNA evidence.

Frederick, Md. (KM) A Hagerstown man is a suspect in a home invasion robbery last year in Frederick. Michael Jentry Lee, 24, is charged with burglary, armed robbery, 1st and 2nd-assault, reckless endangerment and other offenses.

He’s currently incarcerated in the Washington County Detention Center.

Frederick Police say two men broke into a home in the 1300 block of Motter Avenue in July 18th, 2015 . The residents answered a knock of the door, and two men forced their way into the home. They pushed a male resident away from the doorway and pointed a gun at him. They searched the house for valuables, stealing cash and other items.

Investigators say they used D-N-A evidence collected at the scene to link Lee with the home invasion robbery.
