15 People Arrested For Break-Ins

Local homeowners were able to provide tips to authorities, and over 15 people were arrested and charged.


SHANNONDALE, WV (DG)-More than a dozen people have been arrested for breaking into homes in Jefferson County, West Virginia.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports over the last few weeks, there have been a number of break-ins of homes and buildings in the Shannondale area. Local homeowners were able to provide tips to authorities, and over 15 people were arrested and charged.
Jessie Grove with burglary and larceny, and Taylor Smallwood with conspiracy to commit burglary. Ranil Baddeliyanage, Michael Salat, and Brandy Salat have each been charged with possession with intent to distribute. Brandi Kern was charged with driving on a revoked driver’s license. Krystal Jonson and Brian Fox were also arrested on related offenses.

The Jefferson County Sheriff Office credits local residents in providing good information leading to the arrest of these individuals.
