I-70 Ramp To I-270 To Be Closed Saturday Morning

State troopers say they want to continue their investigation of Wednesday’s fatal crash.

 

Frederick, Md (KM)  Maryland State Police in Frederick say the I-70 eastbound ramp to southbound I-270 will be closed Saturday morning. Troopers say they will be conducting an investigation related to Wednesday’s fatal, three-vehicle crash.

Authorities say both lanes on the ramp and lane two on I-70 eastbound approaching the exit gore will be closed for approximately two hours.

The investigation is scheduled to begin at 8:30. The Frederick Shop of the  State Highway Administration  will be handling traffic control.

Route 85 will be posted as a detour route beginning at 7:30 AM on Saturday.

The crash killed Ross Jonathan Michaels, 40, of Frederick.
